So Tarte is a cute, cozy, fully vegan and gluten-free cafe in Omotesando and Yoyogi-Uehara. They specialise in beautifully decorated fruit tarts using seasonal produce. the seasonal white strawberry tart I tried remains one of my favourite desserts in Tokyo. The base was crunchy around the edges while chewy and buttery in the middle. The soy cream is fluffy, and the white strawberry is fragrant and subtly sweet.
Other than their signature tarts, they may also offer other seasonal desserts like fruit parfait, as well as drinks like oat latte. The price is relatively high but I think the high quality tarts justify the price. Keep in mind that you're required to order a drink if you want to dine in.
So Tarte has a sister cafe called Fruits & Season that's known for its vegan whipped cream fruit sandwiches, which is also located in Tokyo.
