Oscar brings the American-Chinese style takeaway experience to the vegan scene. Located just a 5-minute walk from Shimo-Kitazawa Station South exit, this fully vegan restaurant serves up classic dishes like General Tso's 'chicken', ornage chicken and mapo tofu. They offer set meals where you can pick a number of mains along with a rice or noodle dish and a drink. I chose a half-&-half and fried rice and fried noodles.
The food is flavourful, well-seasoned, and offers good value with large portions for the price. The atmosphere is clean and bright, and staff are friendly and helpful. My only small complaint is that some dishes are not hot when served, but the staff is happy to heat them up for you if you need.
