Located conveniently in the Gion area (walking distance from Yasaka Shrine), this fully vegan ramen restaurant specialises in two types of ramen made with a creamy soy milk base - Soy milk ramen and soy milk tantan ramen.
The ramen broth is creamy, rich and flavourful. That being said, it's slightly on the sour side for my taste. The tantan ramen I ordered comes with chewy, glass-noodle like ramen and topped with vegan mince and soy cream.
Other than ramen, you can also find soy meat rice bowl, gyoza, croquettes and more. They also offer some vegan desserts including creme brulee and ice cream. You'll also find a vending machine out front selling vegan cakes.
