Chirashiya is a small, all-vegan restaurant that specialises in beautifully crafted vegan sushi sets. Each sushi is carefully prepared and visually stunning. I tried their 12-piece sushi set which showcases a range of fresh Japanese produce like pumpkin coconut oil sushi and the yam tofu sushi. Don't expect the sushi to taste like seafood though; what you can expect is a sushi plate that highlights the tasty veggies and soy products of Japan. The set also comes with an appetiser and miso soup.
The place is cozy and relaxing, and the owners and staff are very friendly. Because of its popularity and limited space, it’s a good idea to make a reservation. Be sure to arrive well before the closing time, as they can sell out of their popular sushi sets early in the afternoon.
