Pancake Manor offers a unique dining atmospheres in the Brisbane CBD. Housed within a beautiful old church, stepping inside feels like being transported to a medieval hall, complete with armoured knights guarding the entrance.
The menu includes several vegan choices, including a veganised version of their ‘buttermilk’ pancakes. While the pancakes themselves have a decent, nostalgic flavour, their texture can be a bit crumbly. Even though vegan pancakes are available, they don't currently offer vegan substitutes for butter or cream, and you'll be charged the same price for getting less. Other vegan options available include the black forest cherry, blueberry, and lemon & sugar pancakes.
Perhaps its most famous feature is that it's open 24/7, making it the go-to destination if you find yourself craving vegan pancakes at 3am.
