Mylkko in New Farm has a vegan purple ube hotcake on their menu, and as an ube fan, I went to try it. This vegan and gluten-free dessert comes with ube ice cream, ube custard, crumble, and edible gold flakes on a hotcake that is soft and a bit chewy. While the ube flavours were there, I found the portion to be quite small for the price.
Beyond the ube hotcake, Mylkko offers other vegan choices. For savoury food, they have gnocchi and salad bowls. It's also good to know that all their açai bowls are vegan, including interesting ones like the "Snickers Bowl" with cacao, peanut butter, and salted caramel, or the "Golden Gaytime" inspired bowl with cookie dough, chocolate sauce, and chocolate granola.
