Bar Kazba is located at the Fortitude Valley Ovolo Hotel. Two of their pita meals are vegan - falafel and cauliflower shawarma. The pita also comes with fries and a green chilli dipping sauce.I tried both are really liked them. They are filled with a generous amount of filling including tabouli, pickled onion and tahini sauce. The pita pockets are soft and fresh. Everything just works together and the result is delicious.
For dessert, I tried their pistachio baklava ice cream sandwich, which is tasty with a nutty pistachio ice cream and thin, flaky baklava pieces. It would be even more perfect if the baklava pieces are thicker to balance out the jam filling.
Even though the items I've tried were delicious, keep in mind that the vegan options are NOT marked on the menu, so please double checked to make sure what you order is vegan.
