(Updated 2021, Brisbane vegan market is finished, but there are two new markets: North Brisbane Vegan Market at Toombul, and South Brisbane Vegan Twilight Market at Mount Gravatt)
Held every month in West End Brisbane, the Brisbane Vegan Market is a must visit for vegans and anyone interested.
About 40 vegan stalls gather and create an epic vegan event on the 4th Sunday. Everyone comes together and celebrates the vegan lifestyle with food, clothing and more.
Ethical, sustainable and cruelty-free. And everyone is welcome here.
You will be greeted with a bunch of food stalls when you welcome. There are seatings both indoors and outdoors.
Eat your heart out and satisfy your vegan cravings: Sweet, savoury and everything in between. Ice cream, burgers, crepes, cupcakes and more. You will find yourself stopping every stall to check out their unique offerings.
Many locals come to have vegan treats and hang out for an afternoon. The vibe is generally relaxed and chill, although it gets busy around lunch time.
It’s also a great way to show your non-vegan friends and family how delicious vegan food is. The stalls change regularly, so you will probably want to visit more than once if you have the chance.

Ibu Bali is a food stall that makes authentic and delicious Balinese plates. I highly recommend their Taste of Bali plate which has a bit of everything, from crispy corn fritters to crunchy marinated tempeh. Instagram
Missing Japanese food? Izakaya Midori got you covered. Their sushi, ramen and tempura are as good as they look. I love their tempura tofu which has a silky smooth texture and paired with teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise. Instagram
Piante pizza brings fresh, hand-crafted pizzas to the vegan market. You won't be missing dairy cheese pizza after this because of their amazing melty cheese. Don't miss their magic mushy pizza. Instagram
Vegan Leather Co sells cruelty-free fashion, including some unique vegan leather made with cactus and pineapple. Instagram
Pippa's Pantry specialises in cute colourful cupcakes. Selection change regularly and she often brings out new flavours. Instagram
