These Plantitude plant based pastrami style slices are pretty good. The slices are tasty with a nice peppery kick. The flavour is strong on its own, but can get overshadowed when added to a sandwich or toastie. I added 3 slices to a cheesy spinach toastie, and it was pretty delicious. The texture is good but not amazing. I was slightly disappointed as I was expecting it to be thicker and more meaty.

The biggest downside is that they are quite expensive (although at the time of writing, Woolies has dropped the price to $5). With only 9 thin slices inside a pack, it doesn't last very long. Also, for a vegan product, I wish the packaging would be recyclable.
